Reading for the weekend: my article in the Scotsman today on being a teenage member of a rock band caught up in the Cuban Missile Crisis.
The fiftieth anniversary of the start of the crisis is tomorrow.
We were playing at the US Army General Depot, Nancy close to the German border. Here is a map:
