Today the Scottish Trades Union Congress published A Just Scotland an interim report on Scotland's constitutional future. The report is well worth reading by any fair minded individual wishing to understand the issues and unanswered questions surrounding the independence debate. Some hard questions are asked of both the 'Yes' and 'Better Together' campaigns. The STUC wisely takes a neutral stance on the issue for the moment, until the two campaigns respond to its challenges and provide some answers to its questions.
I thoroughly support the STUC's position and I would go further and stress openly that both campaigns need to raise their game. They can begin by responding constructively to the challenges and questions laid down in A Just Scotland.
