Scotland's unemployment differential (Revised)

A revision to the chart presented in this 18 October post. I should have included wage rates as an influence on the supply and demand of labour, which I did in the latest Commentary and now include here

Clearly, differential movement in wage rates between Scotland and the UK could affect both the demand and supply of labour. But we have no evidence so far that this is material in the Scotland - UK unemployment differential.
